Cherokee Entrepreneur and Business Leader Johnie Johnson Elected to Owasso Cherokee Organization Board
Owasso, OK — 12/10/2025 — Johnie Johnson, Cherokee Nation citizen and accomplished entrepreneur, has been nominated and elected to serve on the Board of the Owasso Cherokee Organization (OCO). Johnson currently serves in multiple leadership roles, including CEO and Business Coach of The Strategy Group, CEO of coreNOC, Inc., and President & CEO of Helo Perspective. His addition to the OCO board strengthens the organization’s mission to support Cherokee citizens, promote community involvement, and preserve Cherokee culture and language in the Owasso area.
The Owasso Cherokee Organization’s mission is focused on “helping and involving our Cherokee citizens in our community and providing a place to gather that promotes culture and language.” Johnson’s extensive background in Native-owned business development, entrepreneurship, telecommunications innovation, and community leadership will play a key role in advancing these efforts.
