Leaders to discuss broadband, infrastructure, SSBCI and economic opportunity at AICCO’s premier statewide event

TULSA, Okla. — August 2026 — coreNOC, Inc. (CNI) and The Strategy Group, LLC (TSG) will participate in the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma’s 2026 Gathering Business Summit, August 31–September 2 at River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa.

Both Native-owned companies will have exhibitor booths throughout the conference, providing opportunities to connect with Tribal leaders, businesses, financial institutions, technology partners, and economic development organizations from across Oklahoma and Indian Country.

Johnson and Majors Join Leadership Panels

Johnie Johnson, Cherokee Nation citizen and Founder and CEO of coreNOC and The Strategy Group, will serve as moderator of the SSBCI Leadership Panel, “Fueling Growth in Oklahoma: Tribal Nations & Bank Partnerships Through SSBCI.” The discussion will focus on how Tribal Nations, financial institutions, and technical assistance partners can leverage SSBCI to expand access to capital and strengthen Native-owned businesses.

Tyler Majors, Business Coach with The Strategy Group, will join Johnson as an SSBCI panelist, bringing a practitioner’s perspective from his work helping entrepreneurs strengthen their financial position, prepare for capital, and navigate the lending process.

Johnson will also serve as a panelist for “Connecting Rural Oklahoma: Broadband, Infrastructure & Economic Opportunity,” drawing on more than 35 years of telecommunications leadership experience to discuss rural and Tribal connectivity, infrastructure investment, and broadband’s role in economic development.

Nokia, a valued technology partner of coreNOC, will also participate in the broadband panel and will be co-located in the coreNOC booth during the conference, allowing attendees to engage with both teams about broadband, wireless infrastructure, private networks, and connectivity solutions for Tribal and rural communities.

“Broadband and access to capital may be different issues, but both are foundational to economic development,” Johnson said. “Communities need connectivity to participate in today’s economy, and entrepreneurs need access to capital and technical resources to grow. The Gathering brings together the people and partnerships needed to move both forward.”

Building Relationships at The Gathering

For Del Holloway, Director of Sales and Operations, The Gathering is also about strengthening the relationships that drive business and economic development across Indian Country.
