Russell Williams

Russell Williams is a pioneer in the communication industry with over 40 years of experience. He started his career as a general manager of Tennessee Kentucky Cable TV, before becoming the owner of Williams Telecom, a wireless and satellite consulting group. Russell’s career skyrocketed when he was hired as the first sales representative for US Cellular, eventually becoming the Regional Vice President of Sales and Operations, responsible for over $600 million in revenue.

Russell’s talents did not go unnoticed, as he was recruited by Suncom as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role, he was responsible for the operations of 127 retail, agent, and national accounts. After Suncom was purchased by AT&T, Russell served as Director of Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina markets.

Russell retired from his illustrious career, only to be recruited by Best Buy to build and oversee Best Buy’s stand-alone mall wireless stores in Oklahoma and Arizona. His expertise in the industry and competitive nature helped Best Buy succeed in these markets.

Russell is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Cumberland College, and Castle Heights Military Academy. He is a lifelong learner with a comprehensive understanding of emerging technology and seeks new ways to solve old problems. Russell is a seasoned veteran in the development of new products and services, and his contributions to the communication industry are immeasurable.
